Here is the thing: I don't know if this "behavior" also shows up in another country with, nor if it shows up in different culture with different religion that influence it.

I just read the comment section of news coverage regarding the case of suicide victim on YouTube. And boy, almost all the comments respond with something like :

"Poor soul, i know that college is hard, but adult world is tougher. All we could do is pray to God, work as best as we can, and hope for the best"

At least show some compassion like "may that person rest in peace" or "my condolences towards that person family", DAMN IT! Stop playing one-up/comparing fate/competing in who got the worst of life !

Yeah I think that's all I could say right now
