I was bored and exhausted of clearing the invaded mission again and again in Division 2, so I take a stroll around the White House. And I found this room. I assume it is called The Conference Room (?) due to the nature of how the room was set up (rows and rows of seats, those huge camera, some camera control all the way in the back seat).

It got me thinking, why those huge cameras still exist to this day?

Why are TV Cameras still HUGE and expensive ?

The features.

Turns out, those huge cameras, usually deployed during sports match, important speech, press conference, etc., has the ability such as insane level of zoom in and out, adjust audio level right in the middle of recording, etc.

I think this video from Ben Grantham explains a lot better about these type of camera better than I do: Understanding Television Production Camera - Ben Grantham
